Dr. Alyn is a best selling author and an international fire service speaker and training instructor. She is the owner of Fire Presentations, offering a variety of training sessions and keynote presentations for fire departments, districts, and conferences all over the world.
She has been a featured presenter at Firehouse World, Firehouse Baltimore, Firehouse Central, Fire Rescue Conference, FDIC Indiana, FDIC West, Women in the Fire Service Conference, and Fire Tech Reno.
Dr. Alyn is also a contributing author to fire magazines like Firehouse World and Firehouse Life. Kim holds a bachelors degree in business management,
a masters degree in organizational management, and a Ph.D. in organizational management with a specialty in leadership.
Her own previous leadership experience includes being the CEO of a financial planning firm as well as leading a non-profit organization where she was responsible for directing, inspiring, and leading hundreds of volunteer members.
Dr. Alyn has provided consulting, coaching, training, and keynote presentations for the fire service for over ten years. She has also provided training and presentations for the Department of Defense, the Department of Transportation, military organizations, and other government entities.
An avid writer, Dr. Alyn is the author of ten books including the best-seller "How to Deal With Annoying People" (with Bob Phillips, Ph.D.), "Discover your Inner Strength" (with contributors Stephen Covey, Ken Blanchard, and Brian Tracy), and "101 Leadership Reminders."
